The Loyalist Parkway Association
The Loyalist Parkway Association has one representative appointed by each Municipal Council . All other members are volunteers who form Working Groups as interest and needs dictate. The Association advises the respective Municipal Planning and Works Departments, consults with the Ministry of Transport, the utility corporations using the roadway, and the public. Funding is by grants from the Municipalities.
Working Groups are typically concerned with landscape, signage, publicity, heritage, and tourism Services. Typical projects: tourist information shelters and kiosks, western entrance symbol, wildflower plots, souvenirs, and the guide map with its related kilomarkers.
