PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR OUR NEXT QUILT SHOW 2010 Sat. July 10 - Sun. July 11 The Prince Edward Quilters Guild presents,"A Stitch in Time 2010 - More Than a Quilt Show", on July 10 &11, 2010 at Prince Edward Community Centre Fairgrounds, 375 Main Street East, Picton.  This is a judged competition with quilt show, quilt and wall hanging sales, featured artists, member's boutique, demonstrations, tea room, merchants' mall, quilt raffle, silent auction and scissor sharpening. Shown above is our raffle quilt: "County Rose".  It is a queen sized quilt, machine pieced and hand quilted by our members.   Tickets are $2 @ or, 3 for $5 and may be purchased from any member, or by calling one of the numbers listed on the website. Our mandate is : to promote quilting within the guild and throughout the community to preserve quilting as an art form to establish, maintain and upgrade quilting standards to encourage an exchange of ideas and methods to participate in community projects to research and preserve the history of quilting in Prince Edward County
