Ross/ McMullen House, traditional Victorian style, 1882
Picton Legion since 1948, a landmark for its architecture and the majestic black walnut
trees in front. In 1884, George McMullen purchased the home from Walter Ross, member for
Prince Edward during the last Legislature of the Province of Canada in 1863, and first MP
for the new Dominion of Canada in 1867.
